submitted by Sohee N. - |Recommended: NoI stopped by without an appointment to inquire about an immediate opening and knew I would need to schedule an appointment. I was helped by Kriisten and felt very unwelcomed. I feel like she judged me on my appearance, as if I couldn't afford to live there.

submitted by Garmai S. - |Recommended: NoMy shower is broken I haven’t showered in three days I have been having to boil water over my stove just to take bath because the maintenance man came while I was gone and broke the faucet even more than what it was already broken not to mention that when I came home from work all lights where on I go to the office to let them know the lady in the office told me what do I want why am I hounding her about my Faucet and that I should get out of her face now she was very rude and nasty I have other things that I have been waiting to get fixed in my apartment that still haven’t been fixed since last year of 2021 I’m so sick and tired of this apartment it’s dirty and ghetto hallways smell like dog and piss and smoke I hate it here I wouldn’t recommend anyone to this apartment at all it’s very frustrating when you paying 1750 in rent every month for them to not even be doing as ask of them to do when it comes to getting my stuff fixed In my apartment I’ll be glad when my lease is up .

submitted by Matthew - |Recommended: NoYou may see the low price to rent a two bedroom apartment with a good amount of square footage and think it must be too good to be true , and that's because it is. The savings you might think you're getting by renting here aren't worth the horrible amenities , litter, unresponsive staff, lack of basic security, lack of climate control, inability to recycle, poor upkeep, gross hallways, and disrespectful community. There are plenty of things wrong with Talus that need work, and I have too few characters to list them all here but I go into more detail on my google review. In short, if you value a clean and respectable community where you can grow a family, or start your life away from home, this is not the place.

submitted by Robin S. - |Recommended: NoMediocre Expectations — The expectations of cleanliness of the property, attention to detail in resolving maintenance issues, and the security of the buildings is very low. The management staff doesn't have a vested interest in these concerns. There is no sense of urgency to resolve issues, empathy for residents dealing with issue in their homes, nor appreciation for the residents who care about their community. We appreciate our ground floor apartment and the patio that looks out to the woods in back for our dogs.

I put it some very simple yet necessary maintenance requests 17 days ago and have yet to hear back. I’ve had a nightmare landlord before and he at least got someone out to pretend to fix the problem within the week. I really want to stay here, but if things continue on the path they’re on, there’s no way. Also please get more visitor parking Keeping a small amount of spaces is not keeping the amount of guests down in the apartments, it is just forcing our guests to park far away. It also causes congestion in the lot on the weekends because there are cars just waiting around for a spot to open up.

submitted by Aurora N. - |Recommended: YesReview — Most of my time at Talus was under Pinnacle Properties. I think the staff did their best and was super nice about rent payments. I had tons of help from them and they were great at responding most of the time. I had a few problems like my apartment leaking and the property never came to fix the damage after the water had stopped leaking. I also had several problems with my upstairs neighbors being extremely loud at all hours even after complaining multiple times and filing noise complaints with the police. I aleo don’t appreciate the garbage shoots being taken away from residents because in the winter it’s extremely cold and sucks to walk all the way down the stairs and out of the building. Luckily i am close to a door, but i can’t imagine living on the third floor far from a door. Overall it was not a horrible experience and i have recommended friends to live here. I hope the new property owners have plans to better the experience here.

submitted by Cheyenne N. - |Recommended: YesNot Too Bad — Cute lil apartments, lots of kids and pets. Nice amenities and nearby trails. Dishwasher. Hoping new mgmt can fix security doors that haven't worked since at least April.

submitted by Ajali W. - |Recommended: YesBased On Previous Management Team — There are definitely some things about the building that could be better. Overall cleanliness of the building, mainly garage and laundry rooms. Some updates are needed. Also, the fob access is frequently malfunctioning. Nothing too bad to where I wouldn’t recommend. As for management and maintenance, I can’t say how the new team will be. We just got them and they’re still getting settled I’m sure.

submitted by Shawnshay H. - |Recommended: NoTalus Review — When we got moved in we were moved into a dirty apartment My sister and I had to clean the whole apartment ourselves We were told we’d receive a gift card for that never received it All of our appliances are damn near breaking down and you guys still refuse to do anything about it Literally would never recommend anyone to move here at all This place is literally the worst apartment I’ve ever lived in And it’s only my second rental space
